PONTE.mspbridge - formerly known as ProjectENGINE - is a class library intended for LotusScript developers wishing to integrate the Microsoft® Project scheduler into their applications.
PONTE.mspbridge version 3.0 provides the developer with a consistent, object-oriented Application Programming Interface (API) that lets any LotusScript host access Microsoft Project Version 8 (commonly known as "Project 98") through Version 11 ("Project 2003"), using a technology named LotusScript Extension (LSX), sometimes also referred to as LotusScript Plug-In.
Using PONTE.mspbridge to programmatically access Microsoft® Project offers a few advantages over the built-in COM (OLE Automation) interface:
Efficiency - PONTE.mspbridge's object model hides much of the complexity of
Microsoft® Project's underlying object model.
Robustness - Works with all combinations of Lotus Notes/Domino and Microsoft® Project
versions, as specified in the System Requirements
Protection of investment - LotusScript Code written for PONTE.mspbridge is independent
