PONTE Software & Consulting GmbH was founded in 1995 in Munich/Germany. A branch office exists in
Plauen/Germany since 2001.

The company is specializing in the development of collaborative software applications, with a strong
focus on Project Management, Resource Management, and Professional Service Automation.

Over the past years, PONTE has therefore acquired substantiated knowledge and experience in de-
signing and implementing Project Management software based on Lotus Notes and Domino, which has
evolved as an ideal technological foundation for building collaboration & communication networks.
PONTE has been a Lotus Business Partner since 1996, and an IBM Software Business Partner since 2001.

Indirect sales play an important role in PONTE's overall sales strategy. The company has closed long-
term sales agreements with GEDYS IntraWare GmbH (formerly IntraWare AG) and other sales partners,
aiming at distributing PONTE products through a Europe-wide partner network. Doing so has enabled
PONTE to focus its resources on the continuous development of its software products, rather than on
building-up its own sales force. PONTE's core competencies are ideally complemented by its sales
partners' expertise in providing consulting, training, and customizing services, as well as technical
support.

PONTE reached the IBM Advanced Business Partner status.
